November 30th Sidewalk Sales, On and Off the Bricks Throughout Willimantic’s Downtown
Thread City Development, Willimantic downtown revitalization program today announced its endorsement of and participation in the fourth annual Small Business Saturday on November 30th. Created by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide. Celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the day has given small businesses across the country a huge boost.
Recognizing the importance of supporting small independently-owned businesses in our community, Thread City Development is pleased to announce our support for Small Business Saturday and its Neighborhood Champion program. The Windham region area is encouraged to take part in our Small Business Saturday in Willimantic’s downtown on November 30th. The event takes place from 10am to 5pm at over 30 participating stores offering sales, discounts, promotions and entertainment for shoppers. Stop by to support small businesses and pick up some Shop Small giveaways. Other event details include a performance by David foster and The Shaboo All-stars and local favorite Bruce John.
