On Saturday December 12, at 7:00 pm, the Willimantic Orchestra, a community based orchestra, will present its free Holiday Concert: “Through a Child’s Eyes.” at Shafer Auditorium, ECSU (On the corner of Windham and Valley Streets) Willimantic CT.
David Vaughan will conduct the orchestra. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed and are tax deductible. The concert will include: Vaughan Williams - Concerto Grosso; Berlin - White Christmas; Anderson - Sleigh Ride; Humperdinck - Selections from Hansel and Gretel. Plus these pieces that featuring 40 or more students from local school and music studios: Bach - Concerto for Two Violins Mvt. 1; Suzuki - Assorted Repertoire; Bach arr. Muller - Gavotte in G minor
