Holidays Around the World Tea and “Just Desserts” A fundraiser to benefit the Windham Textile and History Museum’s programs will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2014, from 4 to 6 pm, at the Museum. Desserts from many countries will be served at beautifully decorated tables representing holidays in other countries. Included will be the Netherlands, Canada, Italy and more. This event honors the ethnic diversity of the twenty-six nationalities that worked in the mills of eastern Connecticut. Cost is $12 per person in advance; $15 at the door. Reservations are requested.
